Drew Esquivel Scholarship

The Rotary Club of Healdsburg Sunrise has established a scholarship fund to honor Drew Esquivel, the son of Andy and Susanne Esquivel and brother to Elisabeth and Emma.  He graduated from Healdsburg High School in 2013 and was a rising senior at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology when his life was taken by a drunk driver.  Drew had big dreams and was actively pursuing them.  He was a talented young man with a huge heart and a strong work ethic.  The scholarship recognizes leadership, scholarship, athleticism, service and adventure – ideals so evident in Drew’s life.  We seek to honor and encourage outstanding HHS graduates to Live Like Drew.

The generosity of our community has made it possible since 2024 for Scholars to receive a commitment for four years of support, totaling $10,000 each. We strive to double that within the next few years.
